Potty Success!!

Finally after over three years and two days before his doctor appointment, my son decides it is time to use the potty! We are now on the fourth day and are even going through naps with no accidents. I tell you the child of mine has a mind of his own and he will not do something until he wants to do it. The same thing happened with walking. He crawled at an early age (about 7 1/2 months) but didn't walk until 14 1/2 months. He started running right away but I thought I was going to lose my mind. I am so excited we are over this hurdle now we tackle pooping on the potty and going through the night with a dry diaper. There is just one mommy thing after another...

YAY for no accidents!! potty success is a BIG deal!

you probably aleady know this but i will say it anyway. thre have been several studies that show children who crawled longer have better reading comprehension. so a slow to walk kid is a good thing! lucky kiddo!!

Yay for no accident!
I have an early crawler too. He can keep crawling for all I care.

Wait, didn't I just see you and he was refusing?!? Wonder what flipped that switch? Let's just hope it doesn't flip back! Good luck, I'm pulling for you, although if you don't want to stop buying diapers between now and if you have a 2nd,(it's always harder to go back than if you never stop) you can buy Jillian some. hee hee

Yay! The wait was worth it now I guess, huh? I'm wishing my boy was potty trained at night...but I think that'll be a long wait for me yet....oh well!

Yeah!! I was so pleased when my son was potty trained. No more buying 2 sizes of diapers. Now to work on the second child.
